Repercussion of premature lease termination

22 October 2015 by YourProperty

Dear YourProperty

I’m hoping you can advise – if I enter a leasing contract for a year and my financial situation suddenly changes leaving me unable to afford the rent, then I advise the landlord accordingly and give one months’ notice, can the landlord hold me responsible for the rental until the end of the original contract?

Kind regards
