I am looking into demolishing the house on our property as it is fairly old and rebuilding a newer abode, which I am in the process of planning.
I have also been approached by a developer who has expressed interest in buying the property, knocking down the house and building a new one on spec.
I’m not sure if the building is a heritage property but I would like to know what guidelines I need to follow in terms of procedures and permits in order to proceed with the demolition of the house.
