How should I go about transferring property in an estate?

13 May 2015 by YourProperty

Hello YourProperty,

My grandmother passed away two years ago without leaving a will. She was a widow and only had one daughter, my mother.

I would like to have the property she owned, which is valued at R125 000, transferred into my mother’s name.

What is the correct procedure to follow in this regard?

Kind regards,
Uncertain Reader
