Hello Property Poser,
I own two apartments, I pay the levies, the special levies, the bond, the rates and taxes and do the maintenance.
After another 10 years the bond will be paid off and only then will I actually get some income from the apartment.
I cannot afford bad tenants who don’t pay, nor tenants who damage anything. The letting agent is, as one would expect, the problem.
He is either too lazy, or not intelligent enough, to make sure that there is a watertight contract signed by the tenant.
As PIE and the Rental Act apply, it is essential that the contract be rigid, with no loopholes.
Please provide a list of what we, as landlords, should put in our contracts.
