Can a property held in estate be sold to third party?

8 August 2018 by YourProperty

I inherited our house after my husband passed away and I would like to know whether the property must be transferred into my name before I can put it on the market.

I was married with an antenuptial contract in place and the house was registered in my late husband’s name. His will states that I am the sole beneficiary of his estate.

Thank you,
