I have recently purchased an agricultural property with a dwelling thereon.
The property consists of a number of different holdings or parcels of land combined under a single title deed. The land is measured in hectare.
The part that I don’t understand is the single parcel which is described as constituting a “half-share”.
What does this mean? I was under the impression that I was purchasing a certain number of hectare.
I would like to know what “half-share” means before I take it up with the sellers or the neighbor who seems to have access to the other portion.
