Please would you advise me in the following situation.
If a tenant stayed for only a part of February, how do you work out the rent for the days that the tenant stayed, due to it being a short month?
If you work out the rent at an average over a year, the landlord will lose heavily.
Is my way correct to work the rent out on the days of the month divided in the rent amount, multiplied by the days stayed to come to a more accurate amount?
The lease was a monthly agreement.
