I need your advice on my attempt to cancel an offer to purchase one day after the seller had signed his acceptance.
The agent told me then that the agreement was irrevocable till a set date which has passed (I didn’t understand the document so I told him that I needed a simpler format of the agreement and signed so that I wouldn’t lose the property).
Now the agent is calling and sending documents about transfer of property and I haven’t even applied for the bond.
He has given my details to a bond originator although I indicated that I will be using my own private banker.
The given 12 days for bond application have passed, so do I apply for the bond or wait it out until the extended 12 days pass “after which the sale shall be automatically be cancelled”?
